ABOUT CRESCENT
Crescent is a supply chain services company specializing in Contract Packaging and Parts Fulfillment. We help customers package, assemble, kit, store, and distribute products with precision, reliability, and speed. Crescent does not manufacture products; we focus on the engineered execution that happens after manufacturing to ensure products are retail-ready, customer-ready, or mission-ready.
Crescent primarily serves Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Aerospace & Defense customers. Our Contract Packaging services support brands across beauty, personal care, food, beverage, and consumer goods. Our Parts Fulfillment services support aerospace OEMs, MROs, and defense organizations operating in regulated, high-reliability environments.
Unlike traditional 3PLs, Crescent delivers engineered service solutions. We combine packaging, kitting, quality systems, labor, technology, and operational discipline into a single, integrated solution. This allows us to manage complexity, customization, and regulated processes—not just store and ship product.
Crescent has been operating for over 100 years as a family-owned company. Over that time, we have evolved into a modern, multi-site supply chain partner trusted by leading global brands and aerospace organizations.
CONTRACT PACKAGING (CONSUMER PACKAGED GOODS)
Contract packaging is when a brand outsources packaging activities—such as assembling kits, creating displays, bundling products, or reworking packaging—to a specialized partner. Crescent focuses on secondary packaging, meaning we package finished products rather than manufacturing or filling them.
Crescent provides a wide range of secondary packaging services, including:
- Promotional and retail displays (PDQs, floorstands, pallet displays)
- Holiday kits, gift sets, and influencer boxes
- Multi-packs, variety packs, and value packs
- Rework, relabeling, stickering, and SKU conversions
- Retail-ready and e-commerce packaging
No. Crescent does not perform contract manufacturing, product filling, or primary (“naked”) packaging. We specialize exclusively in secondary packaging and assembly, which allows us to deliver speed, flexibility, and consistent quality for complex programs.
Brands use Crescent to scale quickly, manage SKU complexity, and execute promotions without investing in additional internal labor or equipment. Customers often partner with Crescent to support seasonal programs, retail resets, influencer campaigns, and high-volume promotions where execution quality and on-time performance are critical.
Yes. Holiday kits and influencer boxes are a core strength. Crescent supports complex kitting, premium presentation, tight launch timelines, and scalable volume—making us well-suited for high-visibility marketing programs and seasonal demand spikes.
Yes. Crescent supports packaging for brick-and-mortar retail, club stores, direct-to-consumer, and e-commerce. We design and execute packaging that meets retailer requirements while remaining efficient for downstream distribution.
Yes. Crescent supports make-and-hold programs where finished goods are packaged, palletized, and stored until release dates or downstream orders are triggered. This model is commonly used for promotions, seasonal programs, and retail wave launches.
Crescent supports distribution coordination, including shipment planning and execution to customer or retailer distribution centers. Transportation is typically managed through customer-selected carriers or third-party logistics partners.
Crescent uses contract packaging–specific execution systems to manage production, inventory, and reporting. These systems are designed for co-packing environments and can integrate with customer ERPs to provide visibility into orders, inventory, and shipment status.
Quality is built into our processes through inbound verification, controlled staging, first-article verification at line startup, and frequent in-process quality audits. These controls help prevent errors, protect brand integrity, and ensure products ship exactly as intended.
Yes. Crescent evaluates automation opportunities based on volume, SKU stability, safety, ergonomics, and return on investment. Automation is implemented where it improves consistency, throughput, and workforce safety while supporting long-term program stability.
Automation and equipment investments are structured based on the customer partnership and program requirements. Models may include amortized overhead, customer-owned equipment, pass-through investment, or Crescent-led strategic investment with transparent cost recovery.
PARTS FULFILLMENT (AEROSPACE & DEFENSE)
Parts fulfillment is the management, storage, kitting, and distribution of components required to support manufacturing, maintenance, and repair operations. In Aerospace & Defense, this work requires strict controls, traceability, and consistent on-time performance.
Crescent provides inventory management, kitting, pick-pack-ship operations, supplier consolidation, reverse logistics, and program-specific fulfillment services tailored to customer requirements and service-level expectations.
Crescent is not a distributor. We do not buy and resell parts. Instead, we operate as an engineered fulfillment partner, managing customer-owned inventory and processes with disciplined execution, system controls, and regulatory alignment.
Yes. Crescent operates in highly regulated environments and supports programs that require strict quality systems, documentation, traceability, and controlled handling of inventory. Our processes are designed to support audit readiness and compliance-driven operations.
Crescent applies structured audit routines, verification steps, and corrective action processes. For critical programs, additional inspection and verification steps can be applied prior to shipment to ensure accuracy, compliance, and customer confidence.
QUALITY, COMPLIANCE & ONBOARDING
Crescent maintains quality systems and certifications appropriate to each business and customer program. These may include ISO 9001, AS9100, and customer-specific quality requirements, depending on the operation and industry served.
Crescent uses a structured onboarding and launch readiness process that defines scope, systems, quality controls, inventory processes, and operational ownership. This approach ensures new programs launch smoothly and perform reliably from day one.
Crescent is a strong fit for customers with complex packaging or fulfillment needs, regulated requirements, or programs that demand flexibility, scalability, and consistent execution. We are best suited for long-term partnerships rather than labor-only or transactional services.
Crescent operates multiple facilities across the United States and supports customers with national and global supply chains. Our footprint allows us to align operations with customer demand, program requirements, and distribution strategies.
